The film premiere of 'Lon Marum' in Sydney. Nov 28th, 2013.

For those in Sydney, or close to Sydney, a reminder that the Australian premiere of Lon Marum is at the Macleay Museum at Sydney University on the 28th November at 5PM.

This fascinating film, which I had a small hand in bringing to Sydney, follows the journey of local Chief Filip Talevu as he shows the relationship between language, culture, place, music, tradition, and magic – in the context of life on an active volcano in Ambrym, Vanuatu.

Check out www.lonmarum.com for more information, or meet me there! If not in Sydney, contact the documentary makers via the website and see if you can bring it to your home town.
